We are coming here since almost 20 year for a lot of good reasons. The service and the location are fantastic and the best place for people looking for a winter experience away from the crazy big ski resorts. You can do ski tours, hiking, climbing, and you find very well prepared cross-country ski and sleds slopes. If you want to do alpine skiing, it is not fare away and a ski bus is taking you there. The food is fantastic and you can relax in a new built , small but very nice sauna area.

The lower slope is almost deserted but still well maintained. Great for sledging with little kids as they can have the whole track for themselves. There is a parking at the bottom (4 eur/day, mostly used by the cross-country skiers) and we usually only use the last 200m of the track. Small frozen lake offers ice fishing.

Excellent location in the ustrian Tyrol, located at ~1700m. Great options for summer alpine hiking in an area of the alps where ski lifts are not permitted.
